RFQ Guidelines

Customers rely on Model Solution for quality products delivered quickly. We know that in order to be the best, we have to do more. Our engineers, designers and production personnel deliver precision tooling, modeling, prototyping and production solutions that meet your look, feel, function and build requirements. Below are some helpful guidelines to use when submitting your Request for Proposal.

Please note: An RFQ form is provided for your convenience to provide the details below.  Please login or create an account before using the RFQ form. Once you have created an account, you can use the Project Library to securely send us design files and other important documents related to your project.

Weight

Our teams can develop models that can that achieve the approximate weight of the final product. When weight is important, please include target weight information in your RFQ since the internal structure or your model may change to control the weight.
 

CMF

Information of the desired Color, Material and Finish of each part should be included in the RFQ in order to make an exact model to your specifications. We have provided several catalogs for your reference that provide hundreds of CMF options.  See CMF Selector Guide | Soft Goods Selector Guide | Materials Catalog. Additional colors, materials and finishes are available.
 

Supply of Samples and Inserting Parts

For more complex designs that require insertion parts, please provide actual samples and inserting parts.  If these are not available, you should provide CAD file of identical measurements.
 

Artwork

During the initial stage, artwork elements such as the view line, location of camera, etc. are essential, therefore must be provided.
 

Lighting

Various LED colors (theoretically all colors) are feasible by using RBG LED lighting. Please specify your lighting requirements in the RFQ.  More information can be found on our lighting capabilities here.
 

Functioning & Disadhesion

For models that require functional parts, please provide detailed explanation in order for us to determine the proper internal structures for your model.
