Quick Turn Tooling

Changeable Core
& Cavity with
Standard Mold-base
Model Solution utilizes various Core & Cavity materials following the life expectancy standards for use of molds. Changeable Core & Cavity molds are assembled to a standard mold-base whenever needed. This process facilitates quick tooling, manufacturing and delivery service processes.

Prototype injection molds are built to withstand low to bridge volumes of plastic molding cycles. They are made with AL (under 1,000 shots), P20 steel (1,000~5,000 shots), Nak80 steel (5,000~20,000 shots), Stavax (over 20,000 shots).

Design for
Manufacturability
(DFM)

Model Solution supports product and mold design for manufacturing as part of the development process. For those customers new to plastic injection molding, it can be a daunting task to make sure the CAD model of a customer’s part is properly designed for this manufacturing process. That is why we assist customers with our DFM process. We use Moldflow software for molding simulation and analyze whether part designs can be properly produced by the mold. We are proud of our performance through the use of the Mold Flow simulation, excellent tool quality, and rapid response to customer requests.

Computer Aided
Design (CAD)

Model Solution utilizes the latest 3D computer aided design programs along with other state-of-the-art 3D modeling tools for the best possible solution. With each new project, our experienced CAD designers identify design issues and challenges through analysis of provided data and then propose optimal solutions for our customers. In addition, we offer extensive design change services, even during tight delivery schedules.

Model Solution uses the latest versions of AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer and UG-NX. This allows us to examine customers’ 3D data for potential assembly and manufacturing complications early in the process. Model Solution works with various data formats such as Step and IGES, which are neutral CAD formats accepted in all software Pro/E used in designing mechanical components and parts.

Computer Aided
Manufacturing
(CAM)

Model Solution offers best-in-class manufacturing services with state-of-the-art tools and experts. We utilize advanced CAM software programs, the latest precision Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machines and highly skilled engineers with an average of more than 10 years of experience producing high quality products.

Model Solution utilizes programs such as UG-NX for advanced 3D modeling, Cimatron, which provides major advantages for developing high quality tools of any complexity and size in a very short period of time, and Mastercam, which is a leading CAD/CAM software solution.
