Together with its R&D partner Virnect, Model Solution is showcasing products integrated with the latest augmented reality (AR) technology, aiming to expand its presence in the global market.   'GITEX GLOBAL' is a major exhibition where IT companies and innovative technologies from around the world can be seen in one place. This year, approximately 5,000 companies from over 100 countries are taking part. Model Solution has set up an exhibition booth for the event and is showcasing the head-mounted AR device 'MS-AR20SE,' co-developed with Virnect, a company specializing in AI and extended reality (XR) technologies. In addition, they have created an interactive experience where visitors can wear the device to view real-time data and malfunction alerts from semiconductor facility lines.   The 'MS-AR20SE' is a device that can be widely utilized in high-tech industries such as semiconductors, displays, and biotechnology. Since July of this year, Model Solution has been collaborating with Virnect on the joint development of smart goggles. They have participated together in various domestic and international exhibitions, including 'K-Display 2024' and '2024 Edutech Korea Fair,' showcasing their advanced hardware, AR solutions, and software technologies in the AR field.   The 'MS-AR20SE' is scheduled for field testing at Hankook Tire & Technology's plant in Tennessee, USA until November of this year. Following successful technology validation in the field, mass production is aimed at the second half of this year. Model Solution expects that this device will provide benefits such as cost reduction, improved productivity, and increased convenience for global big tech companies.   Model Solution CEO Byungil Woo said, "Through the collaboration with Virnect, a digital transformation (DX) partner specializing in digital twin and AI/XR solutions, we aim to develop advanced AR devices that can play a significant role in future industries. We will continue our research and development efforts to maximize efficiency and productivity across various industrial sectors."   Meanwhile, Model Solution continues to participate in major global exhibitions, including the world’s largest IT and electronics show 'CES,' the largest IT mobile exhibition 'MWC,' and Europe’s largest consumer electronics fair 'IFA.' Through these events, the company showcases AR devices that incorporate advanced hardware and software, earning recognition as an innovative technology company alongside global enterprises.   Moving forward, Model Solution plans to reinforce its image as a global innovation hardware platform company by participating in leading IT exhibitions worldwide. The company aims to cover the entire value chain—from product development to design, mass production, and contract manufacturing—while intensifying its efforts to penetrate key markets such as AR and robotics.
