Forged Carbon

• By pulverizing the general carbon yarn in a chop shape and applying it on the surface of the target, we can make carbon having a pattern different from general carbon weaving’s.
• The manufacturing process is similar to that of general carbon, thus, the instructions are also the same.

Forged Carbon Material

• It can be made in a mold-type process using a forged carbon chop, but there is also a method of purchasing and processing raw materials in the form of a plate.
• However, the carbon pattern looks slightly different from the mold type process.

Understanding of Bio plastic

• It’s a concept of carbon neutrality which does not increase the overall amount of carbon dioxide that’s emitted by plants as they grow. The decomposition time of it is short like the natural disposal method. Disposable products (packages, products) are already being produced as alternative resources for plastics in Europe, and Hyundai’s “Nexo” is the latest example of it. It is certainly one of the most popular material of all these days.
• For now it can only be manufactured by mold injection at Model Solution.

Understanding of Acetate

• Acetate is an eco-friendly material that is extracted from trees and cotton.
• There is a fundamental difference between Acetate and common oil-based plastic.
• As an eco-friendly material, it is unharmful to human, elastic, able to express various colors and patterns which common plastic cannot express, while being able to be mixed with specific scent.
• However it can be quite easily deformed as it is fragile to the heat, and it’s more expensive than common plastic.

Usage of Acetate

• Resin can be procured, and it can be used for molding.
• It is confirmed that Acetate can be machined as plates up until 20mm through tests, and it can be used to machining prototype models through CNC machining.
• But it needs to be recommended to customers after considering its characteristics(weakness to heat, fragility).

3D Printer (objet 500)

• Objet500 can produce a model by combining 3 ingredients.
• Common magenta, cyan, black, yellow, white plastic can be mixed with rubber and transparent plastic.

Carbon thread type

• Carbon is carbon fiber, so the default color is black.
• It is woven in twill weave and plain weave, etc.
• The size of the weave is usually 1K and 3K.
• In order to make it look like carbon using glass fibers
• However, yarns made in white and silver colors to look like carbon using glass fibers are circulating.

Therefore, the types that can be expressed with carbon are basically as follows.

1. 1K, 3K Black plain weave carbon
2. 1K, 3K Black twill weave carbon
3. (About) 1.5K White plain weave carbon
4. 1K Silver plain weave, twill weave carbon

• For other minority carbon yarns, consultation with the responsible engineer is required.

Silicone Logo

• can be expressed in color by specifying the color in Pantone color.
• The thickness of the logo is also adjustable from 0.1 to 0.4mm.

Spectrum Paint

• Unlike solid color paints, pearl, SF, gloss/matte, forrest which are commonly used, we source the paint that generate a hologram and color spectrum from the paint itself.
• We currently have hologram & double-color spectrum, and plan to source more kinds of paints.

Definition of Multi Vacuum Metallization

• Multi Vacuum Metallization is a same process with common vacuum metallization.
• However, during the vapor deposition process by heating the metal, the metal themselves can be differentiated by switching them consecutively so the target can have two colors.
